Decorating with Artificial Wisteria

18 Jan 2019

Beautiful purple, pink or white wisteria is the on-trend way to decorate your home or business. Dripping with romantic clusters of lilac, violet, pink or white flowers, it is a beautiful vine that can be used to recreate a French country garden feel to your business or home. Natural wisteria is a climbing plant that can be hard to take it care of, as it needs a lot of pruning. But a great alternative is BloomsArt artificial wisteria.

Our real touch wisteria looks just like the real thing but doesn’t fade under sunlight or wilt in bad weather. This means it is perfect for floral décor for commercial businesses. We have undertaken projects in London and in Paris, creating sumptuous floral arrangements for restaurants, cafes and boutiques. Wisteria can look stunning when twined around a tree, or a wooden archway, and will instantly make any courtyard, terrace or balcony look sunny and chic.

Use Faux Greenery in Pots to Decorate Outdoors Spaces

29 Nov 2018

Fresh flowers and greenery look very pretty in pots but they can shrivel and die in very cold or very hot weather. Artificial greenery makes a great alternative for container gardens. Using silk flowers and greenery in pots, placed outside are trending this year, as they add beauty and colour to any outdoor space in London.

Use faux greenery carefully, for a natural, seamless effect. Take care to blend the plants in a loose, organic style. Mix different varieties of green plants, and twine the branches together so they look as though they have grown together. When placing your artificial plants make sure to place them in position in different heights, to add to the allusion that they have grown naturally.

The Latest Trends in Flowers

05 Sep 2018

In 2017 BloomsArt saw an increase in demand for the English country garden look, with roses, hydrangeas and peonies as well as baby’s breath to replicate a ‘just picked from the garden’ look.

This style carried over into 2018, with many weddings opting for natural unstructured, almost naive floral designs with traditional British flowers. Popular colour schemes used peach, pale tangerine and apricot coloured flowers, as well as fake flowers with bi coloured petals. There has also been a shift towards blooms with generous sized flower heads such as larger headed anemones and multi-layered peonies. These have been a big hit with the Instagram crowd, as they make the perfect backdrop for selfies.

What are Green Walls?

14 Aug 2018

Green walls are trending right now, and are seen all over urban environments, but what exactly are they? They are also known as plant walls, vertical gardens or urban greening and can be free standing or attached to walls.

They differ from flower walls in that they are generally made from green plants, although flowers can be mixed in as well. They are vertical structures covered in plants that can be made from interlocking panels that are covered in greenery, and are a great way to introduce nature into urban surroundings.
